Megan Ellis , PT, DPT

Megan joined First Colony Aquatic and Rehabilitation in 2009 after receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She has an undergraduate Bachelor degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. She enjoys treating a variety of patients with vestibular dysfunctions and vertigo episodes as well as general orthopedic conditions. She has been certified in the Functional Dry Needling technique since 2013 and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment since 2016. She recently became a certified Postpartum Corrective Exercises Specialist in 2018. Her areas of focus include the postpartum mom and dizzy patients. She is currently the Assistant Clinic Director and manages all student internships. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, international travel, and recently started learning a new language. She is involved in her local church and frequently serves with them in her community.
